Social Accommodation

somerset chaseExternal redecoration of flats at Weston-Super-Mare
With a large portfolio of properties in the South West, this particular customer has cyclical redecoration works in varied locations throughout the area. With our operatives fully trained to use cherry pickers and other means of powered access equipment, we can offer significant savings over the cost of fixed scaffold.
Other significant benefits of this approach are enhanced security of the site whilst works are in progress, and a shorter time on site. With areas being worked on from the cherry picker being cordoned off, it is also a safer method of working for the general public, who are kept away from the work being carried out.

To decorate over 250 bedrooms, associated corridors, staircases and everything else within a building of this size would present a major task in any circumstances. Add to that fact that we managed to carry out this work whilst other trades were present laying carpets, renewing furniture and checking electrical systems amongst everything else.
We still managed to complete our element of the works within five weeks of starting, with the client very happy with the progress of our works and the standard to which it was carried out.

This time only 220 bedrooms, associated corridors, staircases, but more of an involved specification.  Again, working with other trades as for the Plymouth contract above, but with a much more extensive scope of works for them.
Completed after eight weeks of starting, the building has been handed over to the client by the main contractor in time for the students to move in.
